Wa-Po poll: McCain and Obama soaring

Yeah, I know we’re supposed to be suspicious of polls in the wake of the New Hampshire debacle, but THIS ONE  from the Washington Post is a national survey, and I have no reason to doubt its numbers.

John McCain has jumped to a lead of eight percentage points in the Republican race, and Barack Obama has closed much of the gap with Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side.

McCain vs. Obama in November? That’d be a good one.
