Yippee! McCain promises ‘more wars’

Rightly or wrongly, John McCain seems to think Republicans are a bunch of warmongers.
Accordingly, he TOLD a Florida audience Sunday that America can look forward to “more wars” (especially if he becomes president, right?).
“We’re gonna have a lot of PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] to treat, my friends,” he said. “We’re gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds. And my friends, it’s gonna be tough, we’re gonna have a lot to do.”
What a cheerful guy.
McCain is fighting for political survival in Florida, where Tuesday’s presidential primary is open only to registered Republicans. That’s a tough challenge. He’s always needed independent voters to win. The GOP establishment doesn’t much like him.
But is this talk of more wars and more broken bodies of American kids the way to win over the party faithful? Â
