Pat,
Three blog entries already today. Keep up the great work. But I wonder something - with all this blogging going on, how do you find time to write something insightful for the printed newspaper? Some of us still like the thud of the paper on our doorstep and the smell of newsprint. Give me depth, man!

I don’t find time to write ANYTHING for the printed paper. I retired from the paper 13 months ago. The blogging is just a free-lance sidelight.
