I favor Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, but I almost hope that I’ll have a chance to vote for the former first lady in November — just to defy the most rabid Hillary haters.
What a weird bunch these people are.
Stanley Fish tells us HERE about the unhinged folks who label Hillary “a murderer, a burglar, a destroyer of property, a blackmailer, a psychological rapist, a white-collar criminal, an adulteress, a blasphemer, a liar, the proprietor of a secret police, a predatory lender, a misogynist, a witness tamperer, a street criminal, a criminal intimidator, a harasser and a sociopath.”
The people who hold such opinions are easy to spot: They all wear tinfoil hats.

Pat, you are having your own schadenfreude moment….Don’t vote for her…..Democrat and Republican voters have short and forgiving memories for the shortcomings of those serving them….Hillary has a lot of baggage….she is the Democratic version of Richard Nixon.

I prefer Obama over Clinton because I think he’d be a stronger candidate in November. I like him for a lot of the reasons you hear all over: He’s inspirational. He’s a uniter not a divider. He’s a liberal with a talent for working effectively with moderates on the Republican side. He represents a generational change in American politics. He’s smart and articulate. He’s the real deal.
