Following up on the post below this one, we find that MSNBC is engulfed in a firestorm of criticism over the network’s long history of sexist drivel from its on-air personalities.

The David Shuster case is the tipping point that gives us occasion to revisit the many sins of Chris Matthews, whose brand of misogny is pretty weird for a network commentator.
