Katie Couric is paid millions for this?
February 11th, 2008 at 08:46am Pat Cunningham
Among the questions Katie Couric asked Hillary Clinton last night on “60 Minutes” were these:
“Do you like Barack Obama?”
“Do you pop vitamins? Do you mainline coffee?”
“Why are you so often seen as polarizing?”
“What were you like in high school? Were you the girl in the front row taking meticulous notes and always raising your hand?”
“Someone told me your nickname in school was Miss Frigidaire. Is that true?”

Probably because asking difficult questions to democratic nominees is not a good idea ala pimpette Chelsea…..ala Faux News not being able to hold Democratic debates.

What the hell does “pimpette Chelsea” have to do with Katie Couric’s stupid questions to Hillary?

I also saw Katie’s interview and couldn’t believe it. It sounded like something from People Magazine. And Kaus, what’s your problem? Making sexist slurs about the Clintons’ daughter really elevates the discussion and makes you look so intelligent.

I am merely quoting the MSNBC reporter that mentioned pimping and Chelsea in the same sentence. My point it that the Democratic party is soft on answering tough questions. Dan Rather gets booted for embellishing the truth, Chris Matthews get’s labeled as sexist…you’ve brought soft news on yourself…Katie Couric can’t ask the tough questions because you won’t let her.

Chris Matthews IS a sexist. David Shuster’s “pimp” remark had nothing to do with posing tough questions to Democrats. And who says Katie Couric has to ask stupid questions? One other thing, Kaus. I still can’t figure what you meant in your first comment: “Probably because asking difficult questions to democratic nominees is not a good idea ala pimpette Chelsea…..ala Faux News not being able to hold Democratic debates.” I’ve reread that gibberish five times and still can’t make sense of it.

Chris doesn’t like Hillary….you haven’t proven your argument regarding the rest of the female world.
Ok…not a tough question.
Katie…you are insinuating that she is an air head….you must be sexist.
My last point was gibberish….when I figure it out this evening, I will reply
