Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

I think this just states the obvious. McCain’s only chance for the White House is if he runs against Hilliary Clinton. Clinton won’t attract nearly as many independents and crossover Republicans as Obama, and her candidacy will energize the far right, a large percentage of which will stay home if Obama is the opposition.
If Obama wins the nomination, he easily beats McCain.

You may be right….but November is a long time to hold your breath hoping that: we don’t have any terrorist attacks, Obama doesn’t have any more skeletons in his closet. All that being said, I still am attracted to the Obama excitement. In fact…..
Since Obama’s father was Kenyan, I think Obama provides true hope and a gateway to many Africans. I have a dear friend doing his best for Kenyan orphans right now. Donate to my friends cause at http://kathishouse.blogspot.com
