If staying in Iraq is such a high priority and Islamic terrorism is one of the greatest threats ever to this country, then why don't we have a draft? How can anyone say our military is not stretched thin when we have soldiers going back to Iraq for their second and third tours of duty? And why aren't we concentrating more troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan where al-Qaeda and the Taliban pose a much bigger threat to the world? And stretching our military to a dangerously thin point is, in fact, a failure to support a strong national defense. Had you taken such a course of study you would recognize that your comment is not a logical conclusion from the linked post.
