Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Can you remember ANY time during the 20th century when these regions were NOT a hotbed? Has any US President actually been able to cure the ills of North Korea, Pakistan, Iran…..pahleeese. Dialogue,,,,yep dialogue with rogue dictators and the UN is the recomendation I hear from the candidates will make all nations love each other….but I’m not buying it.

Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran — John McCain

I’m wondering what Kaus considers the alternative? Are we just going to bomb half the world into oblivion?

Hey Real…..where did you go to school? I didn’t realize that Iraq was considered half the world….But seriously, I never posted anything suggesting bombing countries would solve the world ills. McCain had a funny joke about it regarding Iran, however, let me know when butter works instead of guns on the border of South Korea and the Gaza Strip…..Hell will freeze over. Amen to the US rocket blowing that satellite out of the sky today….a wake up call to all rogues….beats dialogue and making lovey-dovey with nations that hate us…and have hated us for the last 50 years…don’t blame that on Bush.
