The idiotic cry of alarm among people who have no grasp of how the U.S. government works. We have no more socialism in this country than what the public demands (and probably not as much as they demand). If your notions of how to run things were what the public wanted, Ron Paul would be in the White House today. He's not, and never will be, because the public is far more in favor of socialism than libertarianism. Most people do, in fact, want the government to take action to solve problems of hunger, homelessness, high medical costs, joblessness, environmental threats, crumbling infrastructure, etc., etc. Ron Paul doesn't want that, and you don't want that, but not many people agree with either of you.
