Pat…Dude! Can you explain to me why you put this Canadian Woman’s article in hear saying Obama wants the US to be like Canada? Did you know that Canada just elected a CONSERVATIVE prime minister? Why is that ya think?

Oh, now I get it. The conservative Canadian prime minister is going to undo the programs that Obama wants the U.S. to emulate. When is he going to start doing that? Lemme see. Probably never, right?

My point was that if Canada’s Liberal Prime Minister’s program is so darn good (according to Canuck pundit Diane Francis), than why did they elect a new CONSERVATIVE Prime Minister. Perhaps Canada is tired of Socialist government….the type of program Obama wants to authorize as the self promoting HOPE candidate.

Socialism, socialism, socialism. The idiotic cry of alarm among people who have no grasp of how the U.S. government works. We have no more socialism in this country than what the public demands (and probably not as much as they demand). If your notions of how to run things were what the public wanted, Ron Paul would be in the White House today. He’s not, and never will be, because the public is far more in favor of socialism than libertarianism. Most people do, in fact, want the government to take action to solve problems of hunger, homelessness, high medical costs, joblessness, environmental threats, crumbling infrastructure, etc., etc. Ron Paul doesn’t want that, and you don’t want that, but not many people agree with either of you. Sorry about that.
