I’m amazed that some people still don’t get why the confederate flag is offensive. It would be the same as Germany resurrecting the swastika as a symbol of its Nazi heritage.

I wouldn’t quite go that far but you do have to wonder (at least a Native Cheesehead like me does) how Illinois can produce and elect such losers on a consistent basis.
