Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

I’m amazed that some people still don’t get why the confederate flag is offensive. It would be the same as Germany resurrecting the swastika as a symbol of its Nazi heritage.

So what say you Mississippi with your DEMOCRATIC Governor who still proudly waves the Confederate flag? WHat say you Robert KKK Byrd…Democratic congressman from West Virginia?

Thank God we live in Illinois where we can boast of a Governor (Democrat) who puts the fun in dysfunctional.

I wouldn’t quite go that far but you do have to wonder (at least a Native Cheesehead like me does) how Illinois can produce and elect such losers on a consistent basis.
