Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Of course Tony McPeak is a decorated Air Force General so he is a real soldier. But his endorsement of Howard looney toon Dean?. Being in the Air Force, he probably has no respect for the Navy….better to choose a guy that never served at all….Mr. Hope.

By the way, my well-placed sources in the Obama camp tell me that retired Gen. Anthony Zinni is on the O-man’s short list for a running mate. Interesting possibility.

I have no friends nor well placed sources…but Zinni has a palatable and credible stance to appeal to hawkish republicans:
1. shouldn’t have gone in the first place 2. Supports troop surge.
