THIS PIECE is long but well worth the bother to read.

Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

A great piece regarding government subversion….so we’ve tried dialogue and we’ve tried violence….about all that is left is isolationism. That won’t work either.

So trying violence is ok?

I think my point is…..nothing works….so let’s not make it a political issue.

Apparently democracy is fine for the middle east only when those chosen by the U.S. are the winners. There are no easy anwsers here but at least let’s not make the situation worse than it already is. What the article says we did with the Palestinians and our invasion of Iraq have both made a bad situation worse.

Oh I get it Mr. Baseball….this is about democracy. And for all this time I thought it was about Palestinians erasing Jews from the face of the earth. Thanks for clarity!
