Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

I will commence praying for that to happen immediately.

I doubt that even that would save John McCain from defeat. He’s going to have umpteen more senior moments between now and November.

Possibly true but he would still defeat Bombastic Bushkin at the top of the ticket.

Say it ain’t so. Al Gore is a fine human being and is doing great things outside of partisan politics. But if he’s the Democratic nominee, McCain should be celebrating. A strong case can be made that Al Gore is responsible for the eight years of George W. Bush in the white house. He ran an awful campaign in 2000. All he had to do was win either his home state of Tennessee or Clinton’s home state of Arkansas and he wins the election. Florida would be a moot point. He did neither.

I don’t think the Gore thing is going to happen. I posted it merely as a curiosity. Obama will be the nominee.
