Is Condi angling to be McCain’s veep?

According to THIS, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is more than willing to be John McCain’s running mate.
At first blush, the idea of such a ticket has a certain political appeal: A black woman just a heartbeat away from a presidency occupied by an old guy. It supposedly steals some of the Democratic Party’s thunder, no matter whether Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton is the candidate.
On the other hand, it would be a war ticket with a capital W, which could pose a big political problem.Â

The way McCain’s been acting lately this might give her a quick ticket to the Presidency. That is, if McCain were to be elected.
But, after seeing Frontline this week, I’d have to start looking into a permanent residency in Sweden or Denmark if she ascended to the office.

That Frontline special was very good; wasn’t it? I didn’t get to see the first half yet but am looking forward to it.

Damn! I missed both parts of that Frontline thing. I’m hoping to catch it somewhere.
