Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Impressed by Barack Obama’s ability to survive their endless harping on the Rev. Wright issue, America’s elite political pundits suddenly HAVE DECIDED that Hillary Clinton’s presidential candidacy is now hopeless.

I’m sorry, Mr….What’s your name? Senator McCain has already addressed the issue of Supreme Court appointments. He says he wants to put people like Robert Bork on the court. Your question was for Senator McCain, wasn’t it?

Mr. A..Hole if memory serves. I see that you are now channeling your candidate in your responses. Will you deflect for the next 5 months? Given his lack of substance, that may be the best approach. Change, Change, Got any change man-what are we, back in the 60’s.
BTW-the opinions of Robert Bork will be researched and quoted by legal scholars for decades to come. The failure to confirm his nomination was one of the great senatorial crimes of the century. That debacle is what finally drove me out of the Democratic party.

Pat-I thought you would appreciate this-From Daniel Henniger’s column in the WSJ today
Hillary Clinton, who now resembles the robot’s crawling hand in the final scenes of “The Terminator,” …
