Arguably it led to the Bush victory in 2004 where it became a major issue in Ohio and brought out enough religious conservatives to defeat Kerry in a close race. I still don't understand how gay marraige somehow detracts from my marraige to a woman. It has nothing to do with me, my family or any heterosexual marraige.
