The Charleston Gazette reports an endorsement deep with symbolism: West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd is endorsing Barack Obama.

According to Obama even his racist klan-loving grandmother that fed, clothed and housed him, wouldn’t vote for him. On the other hand, Obama’s minister of love and understanding–Rev. Wright–has no problem voting for him. This is because, as Rev. Wright told the NAACP, black and white brains operate differently, eventho both Wright and Obama are of mixed race.
