Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Wave of sanity sweeps nation!

Keith Olbermann, who never misses a chance to mock Bill O’Reilly, has PASSED his nemesis in the most important ratings demographic.

Wow. One win in 7 years. Pretty impressive.

With Tivo I can watch both freak shows when ever I want. Just like a train wreck, it is entertaining to watch Olbermann. However, Pat reveals his own lack of judgement by labeling this a “wave of sanity”. Apparently Pat agrees with Keith’s moonbat whacko mantra. Time to get back on the meds old man.

You have no sense of irony, sarcasm or hyperbole, do you, Kaus?

Sure I do Pat….like when you call me an “idiot”, you actually mean I’m smart. And Pat….when I say “Mr. Hope when talking about Obama…THAT is sarcasm.

You’ll notice that NBC felt it necessary to locate the precise hour and demographic that gave them a one-time ratings victory for the first time in 7 years. O’Reilly wins on total viewership and at other viewing times. TPM decides to keep readers in the dark and accept the NBC handout.
