Uh-oh! Joint Chiefs chairman an appeaser?
June 22nd, 2008 at 10:07am Pat Cunningham
As every red-blooded, action-oriented American knows, the very idea of sitting down to talk with our country’s adversaries is strictly for wimps.
It’s downright “appeasement,” as President Bush patriotically puts it.
Which is why we have cause to be alarmed at RECENT STATEMENTS by Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who says that “a healthy dialogue with Iran” would help both countries “understand each other better.”
Healthy dialogue? Understand each other? What a weenie! I suppose he expects that we can all just sit around playing patty-cake and singing “Kumbaya.”
Why are there no real men in the Pentagon anymore? We might just as well elect Barack Obama president. He’s an appeaser, too.

Folks like Admiral Mullen ARE real men! How else can you possibly describe men who “tell it as they see it” and refuse to subscribe to the daily talking points memos from the RNC and Roger Ailes. The best part is that the Pentagon brass who renounce the Republican Party/Fox News playbook can’t be sent a pink slip from Rupert Murdoch!

Yeah, yeah, so this guy is chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. So what?
He and his pals are not calling the shots in this country, especially with regard to what may be an imminent attack upon Iran. Zionist Israel is.
The Zionist-racist Israeli government wants an attack on Iran as soon as possible and is preparing to do so, itself, in order to force the US into joining in by protecting its bloodthirsty backside when it does so.

“Every time we do something you tell me America will do this and will do that . . . I want to tell you something very clear: Don’t worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it.”

Hey Red…what would you like to see happen in regards to Israel…for the record….and do you think if Israel didn’t exist, we could all be friends again?

CNN should know better, after all the question was asked on the CNN YouTube debate. Admiral Mullen did not advocate 1. direct talks with the president and hostile nations without pre-conditions. A point that Obama has acknowledged to be a mistake and has since backed down on. Of course the Bush administration has lower leval talks with such countries. But that wasn’t the point Obama was making.

The only solution for the Israel-Palestine mess that would be just for all parties is the one-state solution.
What is now called Israel and what are now called the West Bank and Gaza would be united to form a single, secular, democratic state, called Palestine, inhabited by Palestinian Jews, Palestinian Muslims, Palestinian Christians, Palestinian Druze, Palestinian Baha’i, etc., all of whom would have equal rights and privileges under the law.
Those Palestinians driven out of their homes by the terrorist-Zionists in 1948, 1967, and at other times over the last 60 years would be allowed to return to democratic Palestine and compensated for the injustices they have suffered from.
Compensation would come not only from the Zionists currently living in Israel, but also from all those countries that have supported the Zionist apartheid state ever since its appearance.
Some sort of truth and reconciliation process would be established to address the grievances of those who have been injured by the criminal Zionist entity.
The end of Israel as a political entity and the consignment of the Zionist-racist ideology to the ash-heap of history, right beside Nazi-ism and Stalin-ism, would allow fair-minded people from all of Palestine to work together for a just and peaceful Middle East for them and their neighbors.
