Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Wow. Even with a disorganized campaign Senator McCain has been able to keep easily within the margin of error. Wonder if Obama has another gear?

And what is the margin of error on which candidate has the most flip flops anyways? Obama keeps racking up points…his latest being gay marriage….

Obama’s a piker when it comes to flip-flops. Here’s a list of 52 flip-flops by McCain (who, by the way, sometimes says things and then denies having said them): http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=593495

Correction: Obama is a ‘different kind’ of piker.

Speaking of polls and margins of error, here’s a pretty good source for electoral-vote projections: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/

Pat, the 538 link is awesome. This is about the only polling worth paying attention to, considering our electroral system.
