Uh-oh! Looks like they’re going to have to kick that Lugar fellow out of the Republican Party

Republican Sen. Dick Lugar of Indiana is widely respected for his grasp of nuclear-proliferation issues and stuff like that, but it turns out that he’s also a political apostate.
Truly loyal Republicans don’t run around saying nice things about Barack Obama and vouching for the veracity of the Democratic nominee’s campaign commercials. It just isn’t done. It’s political treason. It’s tantamount to trampling on the flag and dissing our troops.
Consequently, the GOP has little choice but to drum Lugar out of the party for THIS unspeakable act.
Has the man no shame?

To quote a line out of Apocalypse Now - “The horror… the horror”.
What will be next? Cats and dogs sharing litter boxes? Will Mickey Mouse allow Goofy to date Minne Mouse? Or perhaps, we will see Ann Coulter and Michael Moore on Dancing with the Stars, dancing with each other.
“THE HORROR … THE HORROR!!!”

Dick Lugar is respected on both sides of the aisle. Dick Lugar ran for President himself in 1996 and it’s a shame that primary voters were not more receptive because he would have made an EXCELLENT president.

I don’t think that the Liberals (notice Liberals, not Democrats) would take him. Being married to a woman, and all? And, since 1956, to boot!?!?! What gives?
He’s too old fashioned, with, what do you call them..values…..family….something…….family values (?) maybe? I don’t know. It’s something that hasn’t been taught in schools for a while now, anyway……so, it must not be important, whatever you call it.
He’s just not “hip”, “progressive” or “alternative” enough. The “Obamites” will weed this “antique” out, fast. He’s just not “iPod” or “Me First” enough.
