Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Dude’s having a bad summer — with two months to go

Regular readers of Applesauce might recall a couple of recent posts (THIS ONE covers both of them) in which we dissed conservative scribbler Jonah Goldberg for his laughable pinheadedness.

Well, golly, young Jonah has gone and done it again. This time he excitedly reports on his blog that a reputable scientific organization has renounced its previous claim that human activities are contributing to global warming.

Yeah, that’ll put that Al Gore guy in his place, right?

But notice, please, that Jonah boy has had to APPEND a correction to his post.  Turns out he was wrong about that scientific organization. The group stands by its earlier declaration concerning global warming.

I’ll bet that Jonah’s mom, Lucianne Goldberg of Clinton-Lewinsky FAME, is not exactly beaming with pride these days.

POSTSCRIPT: If the Goldberg post to which I’ve linked is gone by the time you read this, I’m sure you’ll understand Jonah’s eagerness to put this episode behind him.

Johan Goldberg makes me laugh so hard. He writes rubbish and expects everyone to believe the crap. Basically, he writes garbage, throws it up on the wall, and waits to see if it sticks.

He makes Ann Coulter look like a great American Historian.

Hold on, I am laughing at myself on that one. ;)

Pat, I was wondering if you ever found an interesting piece on the net called Zippergate?

It shows all the players involved in Lewinski-Gate. This includes the Goldbergs, Regnerys, Scaifes, and most of those have connections to the Bushes.

There will be some that will say the whole twenty nine page article is a conspiracy theorist dream, but the person who wrote it is an ex-CIA agent. He has no party alliance. Ever so often, he writes about corruption at the top levels and the connections in the networking of the people involved.

At one time, those families mentioned above were sympathizers with the Nazi movement. And if they were not true sympathizers, they definitely helped support the Nazi Military build up during the early ’40s. It is amazing.

In today’s terms, they would be seen as terrorist contributors.

Put Al Gore in his place? Al Gore, the great consevationist?

Have you seen any of the Gores’ propertie(s)?

There is nothing “Green” about any of them.

Al Gore’s Tennessee home (a 20-room mansion + 8 bathrooms)consumes 20 times the gas and electricity of the average american home. In 2007 (at 2007 gas and electic prices) it cost 2,400/month for those two utilities alone.

Jonah Goldberg is quackish, yes, but Al Gore is anything but a marauding victim.
