I don’t get it, what’s the connection between the many houses McCain can afford and the woman who stupidly buys a house with a mortgage she can’t pay? You’re blaming McCain for someone choosing a 15% mortgage I’m sorry, he’s right–protecting stupid people and stupid corporations from the consequences of their of their own bad choices is not the responsibility of government.

Say what you will–McCain didn’t flunk the 3am test on the Republic of Georgia while idling away in an $8 million Hawaiian beach house owned by, of all things, an environmentalist.

McCain flunked the idiot test when he said: “In the 21st century, nations don’t invade other nations.” He seems to have already forgotten the U.S. invasion of Iraq. What’s McCain going to say when Israel invades Iran? How come he’s pretending he’s already president, sending envoys to Georgia and rattling sabers like some bellicose general? Oh, and what has McCain done that has so miraculously resolved the Russia-Georgia problem? Also, let’s not forget that McCain’s first statements on the issue were lifted willy-nilly from Wikipedia.
