Karl Rove’s not too bright, is he?
August 22nd, 2008 at 12:03pm Pat Cunningham
Karl Rove, whose vastly overrated political expertise helped make George W. Bush one of the most unpopular presidents in American history, now wants us to believe that the fuss over how many homes John McCain owns is actually an attack on McCain’s wife.
Rove, who works at Fox News (where else?), explains his theory here:

Sure it’s an attack. Obumbler always goes off the message, what differnce does it make when McCains wife have 200 million and 7 houses. I would hope someone that has that kind of net worth does. By the way they were all bought legally without help for Rezko. Obumbler goes down the wrong road talking houses. He buddy Rezko paid full price for his lot the same day next to Obamas while Obama paild 300k less then what his was valued at then bought a 10 foot strip from buddy Rezko who how is in jail, with 16 charges againt him for fraud. Houses? well Obama made 4 million last hear and his 1/2 brother lives in a hut on less then a dollar a month. I guess Michelle who is not proud of her country is probably not proud of the 1/2 brother. Kin like that we don’t need, let alone a President.

Always a pleasure hearing from you, Dave, especially since you seem to keep up to date on all the wacky right-wing talking points. I love that stuff. By the way, I’m hearing more buzz about McCain picking your buddy Romney as his running mate. I sure hope so. But, you know, some of your super-Christian friends don’t much care for the Mittster. They remember when he was sort of a liberal as governor of Massachusetts. Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot. You people like to call it Taxachusetts, don’t you? Anyway, soldier on, Dude. And keep us posted on the latest angles concerning Tony Rezko.

Mr. Cunningham, isn’t it your job to “keep us posted on the latest angles concerning Tony Rezko”? Regardless if such news favors Mr. Obama?

All those homes and not one financed by a slick deal from a failed savings & loan? Now Dave, don’t make us go all Keating 5 on you.
Whatever became of that anyway? Oh yes, McCain was labeled to have had POOR JUDGEMENT. I guess things haven’t changed.

T. Casper: It’s my job to do what I damn well please. This is a blog, and I’m not an objective reporter.

T. Casper, That would be his wife’s job. But she’s nothing but a big lib also so don’t expect it anytime soon. How’s the Lib slant going for your wifes newspaper anyhow? Big layoffs wouldn’t happen to be a product of the totally liberal slant of your wifes newspaper would it? I know that I haven’t bought this rag for years for that reason, and won’t until the Fairness Doctrine is initiated for this paper and the network news. You’d think the problems that the New York Slimes has been having would be a wake up call. “Workers be damned, we’ll never become neutral” is the cry of the MSM. I keep looking for the Blog from the normal side, but still can’t find it. Wonder if I ever will.

Steelhawk: I’ve got just the blog for you. You seem like the kind of guy who’d feel right at home over at FreeRepublic.com. Give it a try. Oh, two other things: 1) The Constitution would prevent imposing any fairness doctrine on newspapers. You ought to read it sometime. Some of it will probably upset you, but it’s really quite interesting. 2) I’m not married. Wait! One more thing: There are countries where the government controls the press. Have you ever considered moving to one of them?

rightwingnutdave and his ilk miss the point…imagine being so out of touch with the way most of us live that you have NO freakin’ idea home many homes you own. and then believe, just for a psychotic minute, that such a person tries to say HE not the “elitest” african american who never made more than about $30K a year until 2006 knows what is best for the little guy….straight talk express my arse, the lying warmonger mccain is much more likely to protect his fellow millionaires like his buddy bush than to give a sheet about workin’ folks. He tries to make an issue out of the “capital gains” tax by prevaricating when saying some huge number (100 million?) cititizen own stock…but fails to truly inform that overwhelming majority of us have that stock in retirement accounts that are NOT subject to the capital gains tax. NO, that increase would only affect the obscene rich but let us trick the american moron into voting for us so we can screw them again…that is the mccain/bush doctrine………hopefully, Biden will have the gonads, tenacity, and street fighter mentality to stop letting these elephant liars from spreading their garbage aimed at confusing those who think mccain will care about them.

But what do you really think, barryfan? Don’t be so shy.

She dumped you? No surprise there.
So I can assume that you’ve contacted your friends on the left and encouraged them to call off the dogs and stop all the Fairness Doctrine talk when it comes to conservative talk radio.
