“Joe Biden is an incredibly arrogant jerk”

That’s what Ezra Klein SAID a few days ago, but he meant it in a good way.
POSTSCRIPT: Barely hours before Obama named Biden as his running mate, conservative columnist David Brooks had THESE NICE THINGS to say about the senior senator from Delaware.

What was Obama thinking? Biden is the biggest loser on capital hill.
This will give McCain plenty of ammo in the next few months. What kind of skeletons are in his closet, we will soon find out. Bad move Obama.

Ah, gowader! We can always count on you for some comic relief. Do tell, my man, exactly how is Biden the “biggest loser on capital hill”? And what kind of skeletons do you expect will be found in Biden’s closet? Is he secretly a Muslim, like Obama? Does he hate America? Let me help you out: Biden is the poorest (in terms of personal finances) member of the Senate. Certainly that can be attributed to a character flaw. It makes him look bad in comparison with John McCain, who had the strength of character to dump his first wife and marry a much younger heiress who could buy him seven homes. Or is it eight homes? Wait! Some people say it’s 11 homes. Yeah, gowader, you’re going to provide a lot of laughs over the next two months. I’m glad you’re here.

gowarder is a riot. he loves the warmonger who wraps himself in the flag of vietnam as a veteran who cares, when in fact, mccain votes AGAINST the bill to provide Veterans a GI Bill, that, like our fathers’ bill, would actually pay for college. naw, it is ok with mccain that a true patriot like local kid mckiski who died in the bush/mccain invasion of a sovereign nation, would have received only $6000 in college aid from his service…….what a joke, send these guys and gals to die in the desert with a false promise of paying for their college which is what sucked so many of them into this homophobic military and then only pay off with enough dough to pay for one semester…yeah, that is what mccain supports because to provide more money would be too much of an incentive for folks not to re-up in his beloved military–better they die on their third tour following the bush “stop-loss” policy than to get out, come home, get educated, and make some cash to pay taxes to support mccain’s next war….

barryfan, I quess you know alot of vets who only signed up for tuition.
I have a brother who recently did a tour in Iraq. He left his wife and four kids home so he could protect freedom in another country, for someone other than himself. He is currently in the reserves and willing to do it again. And quess what? He could care less about the tuition or money. Some people in this life actually have honor and courage. do you?

Pat I will tell you what is funny! Biden ran for President before and no one wanted him. What makes you think anyone will want him now. I could have expected Obama to pick someone black or a women. Then I might have taken him serious. (not)

Here’s a little history lesson for you, gowader. The first two times that Ronald Reagan ran for president, 1968 and 1976, “no one wanted him,” as you might put it. But he eventually became a two-term president. Now, memorize that lesson, please, because we might have a test on it the next time you come up with an idiotic remark.

gowader - Correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t McCain run before?
8. Henry | August 23rd, 2008 at 10:32 pm
One other thing gowader, what’s with the ‘black or a women’ remark? You wouldn’t be one of those slack-jawed racist/sexist types so common on the far right, would you?

Henry; Look at this from the view of a tobacco spitting red neck, who clings to his guns and religion. Everyone knows that to get elected one must appeal to the masses. But hey, Biden might appeal to the liberal ignorant white vote. Maybe Obama is not so stupid after all.
And what makes you think I am a fan of McCain? He is an arrogant liar just like Obama.

The Mckiski boy did not join for the money–his family could afford college. He did it because HE thought it was the rght thing to do

This is ALL over the net
“I’m not a Republican”
“I’m not a McCain Supporter”
Are there any Republican McCain supporters out there who are not ashamed to admit that you are not only….
A: A Republican
B: A McCain Supporter
Man, It’s like finding Hen’s Teeth
Except there is a reasonable chance that Hen’s Teeth will be found before
a Republican or McCain supporter ever comes forward and Fess’es Up.
Most really Bite to believe in something
that you are ashamed to reveal in public, Huh
