The occasion was a Republican presidential debate this past January.
John McCain was asked about his qualifications to handle the nation’s economy.
His answer touched upon Iraq, patriotism, Ronald Reagan, Islamic extremism, his experience as a prisoner of war and several other irrelevant topics. But he uttered not one word about the economy.

McCaine’s damn lucky he’ll never have to face Biden in a debate.

Ha Ha, good one. I remember McCain’s awful performance in that debate. Lots of politicians do this and few are called to answer the damn question. When McCain claimed superior leadership to handle the economy because he lead a squadron you had to scratch your head and wonder.
