Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Fairly or not, presumptive presidential nominees get to control, to a certain degree, the rhetoric peddled from the podium at their party’s convention.  And so it is with the Barack Obama campaign and this year’s Democratic conclave.

There’s word today that the Obama camp deleted one line from Dennis Kucinich’s speech last night. It was a zinger.

Referring to conservative Republicans, Kucinich reportedly was prepared to say:  “They’re asking for another four years — in a just world, they’d get 10 to 20.”
