And Sarah Palin says she’s opposed to gluttonous feeding at the federal trough.

Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

So now you’re against earmarks? Both Obama and Biden voted for the bridge to nowhere.

Bob, I saw the article you’re referencing, but it links to the bill below and both Obama and Biden voted no. Interestingly enough the bill contains a section that deals with improving rail crossing safety in IL.

Besides, Bob, are Obama and Biden running on a claim of opposing earmarks? Sarah Palin is, and she’s misrepresenting her record on it. But, hey, she’s a hockey mom and a moose hunter. She’s REAL people, not some elitist. Oh, and she lives close to Russia, which makes her an expert on international affairs. She’s ready to step in if Mr. Straight Talk, God forbid, meets the Grim Reaper.
