Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

Here’s Rudy Giuliani talking about Barack Obama the other night:

“(H)e’s never run a city, never run a state, never run a business. He’s never had to lead people in crisis.”

Here’s Rudy talking about John McCain during a Republican presidential debate last year:

“(He) has never run a city, never run a state, never run a government. He has never been responsible as a mayor for the safety and security of millions of people…”

I love that bit about being responsible for the safety and security of millions… by the guy who build his safety and security command center at in the basement of their most obvious and previously attempted target.

Now, if Rudy had somehow actually prevented 9-11, then I might listen to him.

I don’t believe that those statements were by Rudy, 9-11 doesn’t appear anywhere…no way he said it.
