Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

We are on our way to it, something that would not have been possible if we had followed the “Cut and Run” and/or the “No Surge” policies of the Far-Left. Giving Obama ANY credit for being “right” is a joke, since he didn’t support the surge, which has turned the tide, making these withdrawals possible.

Snuss, what do we win?? And don’t say oil contracts, because those went to China.

Captain Swift Boat and Company
have already won the U.S more than
Two, Count’em ,Two Trillion Dollars in
Loans from the Bank of China.
Plus They’ve won the adulation of the whole wide world.
Yes Sir ReeeePublican
They all just love the Documented Civilian Death Count of nearly 90,000 Innocent Civilians and as a BONUS
Snuss and company have WON more than 4155 U.S Military Deaths and more than 30,000 seriously wounded.
And the BEST PART !!!!!
AND IT DIDN’T COST SNuss and Company a Nickel
Hell, Snuss and Company even managed to get a TAX CUT along the
way
Now that’s Fiscal Conservatism
That’s John McCain
And that’s what the American People
can win more of if only they vote

Only people that pay taxes can get a ‘tax cut’. Are you sure about the death counts–better tune into CNN to get the latest.

Pat-I can’t remember anyone claiming that the war in Iraq has been won. We are on our way to winning it and that, of course, petrifies Liberals.
BTW- could you perform a public service for your Conservative visitors and provide some sort of translation for the comments of Mr. Gunn? Most of the time I have no clue what he is babbling about and I presume you do.

Mike: I’ll make you a deal: I’ll take a stab at translating Gunn if you’ll do the same regarding Kaus and snuss. BTW, how do you like having those guys on your side? Must be embarrassing.

I guess we still haven’t won WW2, because we still have troops in Europe.
And LD…I thought you lefties said we were going to war for oil
Guess that was a lie
Maybe we should pull out of Obama’s home town, because Chicago has had more murders

Pat sez: Snuss, what do we win??
Well, Pat, since you seem to have that reading comprehension problem so typical of you Far-Lefties, I’ll try to get it down to your level.
1. No more Saddam, his corrupt government, and killing and/or torturing Iraqi civilians by the hundreds of thousands.
2. A democratically-controlled Iraq that is friendly to the U.S., and an example to other Middle-Eastern countries of what small-d democracy can do for them.
3. Less support for Syria’s terrorist ties.
4. No more of Saddam’s rewards for Palestinian homicide bombers.
5. No more money to his U.N. co-conspirators in the Oil-For-Food scandal.
