Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Who cares? Obama (Chicago corrupt politco) and Biden (father/godfather of lobbyists) will have to find another smear route.
I can’t wait for Pat to talk about Pollster.com tomorrow….read it and start weeping Cunningham. Florida has fallen, Ohio is now Mccain’s, Montana, and even New Hampshire have seen the light baby!!!!.

Don’t get too cocky, dear right-wingnut. As a Florida resident, I can assure you that Florida has not, to use your rather silly term, “fallen.”
For every one (1) new voter the Republicans have registered here, the Democrats have registered seven (7) new voters and the gap keeps growing. You may be the one needing the Kleenex come the morning of November 5, so don’t be too quick to order the champagne.

Thank God registering and voting are two separate acts.

Orlando, who are you to question Pollster.com? This has been Pat Cunningham’s gold standard of Polls. The stats don’t lie. And you LEFT wing-nuts have been drinking champagne (or is that kool-aid) since the fall of 2007.

Expanding on Orlando’s reply to Kaus, I have this to share: Kaus cites Florida, Ohio, Montana and New Hampshire as states where McCain is doing well. But let’s look at them. In Florida, McCain’s only 4 points ahead, barely outside the margin of error. In Ohio, McCain’s ahead by less than two points, and the state’s considered a toss-up. Montana also is considered a toss-up, with McCain ahead by just 3 points. New Hampshire? Another toss-up, with McCain ahead by less than 2 points. Methinks Kaus is a little premature in celebrating.

Methinks this is incredible progress from 2 weeks ago and you were premature for the last 6 months in celebrating.
