Campbell Brown says John McCain’s coddling of Sarah Palin is sexist
September 24th, 2008 at 08:01am Pat Cunningham
The CNN anchor SAYS the McCain campaign should “stop treating Sarah Palin like she is a delicate flower that will wilt at any moment.”
As someone once said in another context, you’re doing a heckuva job, Brownie.
UPDATE: Here’s a YouTube video of Brown’s comments:

I wonder what they are afraid of?
The VP debate is going to be all softball questions and talking points too… so that’s going to be a lot less fun than it could have been.

Why would they let Palin talk to the press. The Gibson interview was a sham, read the full transcript. They tried to make her look dumb. By the way, I saw 60 minutes ask Santa Obama Claus the same question, but they worded it differently. It went something like this, “What is you opinion on pre-emptive action on terrorist countries”, not “What is your opinion on the Bush Doctrine”. I am sorry Campbell is a lackey. Barack they treat him with kid gloves. They have consistently attacked her.

DingDong: So you, too, take the sexist view that poor little Sarah can’t cut it with the big boys. She can’t hold a press conference because those nasty reporters would be mean to her. The McCain campaign has to protect her. After all, she’s just a girl. Republicans know how to protect their womenfolk. Wow! Pathetic, just pathetic.

Pat: No, I am not saying that. But when there is a concerted effort to defame someone, why not do it on your own schedule. It looks to me like it is driving the reporters crazy. Lets see the reporters treat her with deference(ass-kissing) they give Obama.

Didn’t Obama go into enemy territory and speak with O’Reilly on Faux News? Or maybe I imagined that. Let’s see Palin go on Countdown. hahahahah…. yeah right. Gotta keep the muzzle on the pit bull.

If Obama was really transparent and brave he’d go on Hannity and Colmes
7. Pat Cunningham | September 24th, 2008 at 10:07 am
Speaking of Hannity, did you see the way he played patty-cake with Palin? What a wimp!

LD: She went on with Gibson. Who from his attitude was not very friendly. I could have sworn she was running for VP.
Pat: Come on, for Obama that is all the media outlets. Did watch how Steve Kroft walk around with Obama putting his hand of his shoulder, like they are buddies.

Poor little Sarah. Was that Gibson man mean to her? Did he ask her hard questions? Shame on him. That Hannity man was nice to her. He’s a nice man. He only asked easy questions.

oooh Obama…we love you because your going to give us everything for free. Your past means nothing…we also love domestic terrorists, communists and don’t forget about the racists. Please no questions about what Barry has done, only about what Barry will do for you.

OOOH poor little Obama if you put him on the spot your called a Racist. Even the dumb women of the View kiss Obama’s little butt. Obama has gotten a free ride from the media this whole Ha!ha! Election.

Thank you Mike. Nobody wants to look at variables that caused this. It did not happen overnight.
13. Pat Cunningham | September 24th, 2008 at 4:29 pm
Roger: Who said anything about being called a racist if you put Obama on the spot? Opposing Obama doesn’t make you a racist any more than opposing John Kennedy made one an anti-Catholic or opposing Pat Robertson makes you anti-Christian. But, of course, all the racists (and there are millions of them) do, in fact, oppose Obama. Funny thing about those racist people, research shows that they’re usually the lesser educated among us. You have to be stupid to be a racist. Every racist I’ve ever known was pretty much an ignoramus.

the fact that the republicons are not the slightest bit concerned that this poor excuse for a candidate was nominated says something about their desire to win over what is best for the country. the bright ones get it–which is why George freakin’ Will for chrissakes, ripped Mcsame and outted his poor demeanor, horrendous judgement and inability to lead. HIDING sarah is just contributing to the reality that she is not up to snuff–she cannot cut it in a real campaign with real questions for real substance..if there were texas, machine gun sarah would be describe as all hat and no cattle.

McCain isn’t protecting Palin because she’s a woman. He’s keeing her hidden and protecting her because he knows she will fail miserably when asked the hard questions. Hannity is always good for a laugh though.

When was either candidates last press conference? They all come out and blab but never really take any questions.

Obama takes questions at just about every event, Fox news usually cuts to their own commentary at that point however.
