Obama maintains lead in post-debate polls while McCain’s unfavorable rating rises

Four national tracking POLLS released today show Barack Obama maintaining a healthy lead in the presidential race.
One of these surveys suggests that John McCain’s demeanor in the debate last Friday night has increased his unfavorable rating among voters.
UPDATE: Fox News polls SHOW Obama making gains in five swing states — Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Michael: Don’t tell me you’re already betting with your head against your heart. Oh, well, that’s always the to bet it. I’ve done it myself many a time.

Patrick- my head tells me that “It’s the economy stupid” and McCain gets the albatross of his party being tied to Wall Street in this economic mess which the voting public doesn’t understand. Not fair, but, who said politics is fair.
As a Conservative, I actually see a bright spot in all of this.
The Republican party has lost its way. Some time in the Wilderness might not be a bad thing. They might actually discover again what they should stand for.
