Kathleen Parker, whose recent derisive column about Sarah Palin I PASSED ALONG last week, has been getting a lot of threatening mail from the more rabid elements of the political right.

Parker is shocked (shocked!) at receiving death threats from wingnuts because of her column. She professes not to understand the depth of their anger.
And yet, she’s guilty of the same thing concerning Democratic politicians. Courtesy of Blue Texan over at firedoglake, here’s what Parker wrote in a 2003 column: “Here’s a note I got recently from a friend and former Delta Force member, who has been observing American politics from the trenches: ‘These bastards like Clark and Kerry and that incipient ass, Dean, and Gephardt and Kucinich and that absolute mental midget Sharpton, race baiter, should all be lined up and shot’”
Hmmm. “Lined up and shot.” Sound familiar, there, Kathleen?
