Please don’t confuse David with facts. He has trouble adsorbing them. That’s why he listens to Fox News. That way he can hear what’s going on without dealing with actual facts. Besides, as David would say, if Palin didn’t prove her innocence, then she’s obviously guilty. Right, David?

Let me try to simplify it for everyone. Sarah Palin had every right to fire Monegan, she’s A-OKAY there. Sarah Palin had no right to pressure Monegan to fire Wooten, That’s NOT OKAY. Sarah Palin, her husband and her staff did a whole heckuvalot of the not okay part.

1st. Anybody that’s been following this story and has a modecum of intellectual honesty (that leaves you out Pat) knows that the entire process was run by Democrats and a Republican tick because his corrupt gravy train was derailed. And even if it was a so called abuse of power, maybe if someone in Illinois by the name of Stacy Peterson wouldn’t be “missing” and a cop named Drew Peterson would be in prison for murdering his 3rd wife. But ya know, the liberals could care less as long as it goes along with their agenda.

Bouncy, I read the part to which you referred. I also read this part of the official report:

Finding Number One

For reasons explained in Section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch ethics act. Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) provides

“The Legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.”

In other words, Palin acted unethically, which is no big surprise considering the way she’s conducted herself in the past week or so, riling up the slackjaws at her rallies. (By the way, you weren’t one of them, were you?)

Palin’s firing of Monegan was ”a proper and lawful exercise” of the governor’s authority.

I’m sure that you are thrilled that the trooper can go back to tasering 11 year olds
