L.A. Times: GOP officials worry that McCain-Palin slide is “irreversible”
October 12th, 2008 at 12:31pm Pat Cunningham
THIS PIECE in this morning’s Los Angeles Times says the differences in John McCain’s and Barack Obama’s responses to the financial crisis has hurt the Republican ticket and raised fears among GOP officials.
Mark Wagner, a 47-year-old lifelong Republican from Florida, says this:
“If you looked at some of the decisions that Obama’s made, and the consistency and levelness that he’s had in these trying times over the past few weeks, in my opinion he’s blown McCain away…McCain was supposed to be the steady hand with experience.”

Oh, and the thread was about McCain’s slide, in case you guys missed that point. Personally, I didn’t see any slide. McCain was near the bottom and has stayed there. Therefore, no slide.
