Hawaii was already a state. Obama's mother was a U.S. citizen. And he would have had to prove this to be sworn in to the Senate. And don't forget, John McCain was born in Panama. There are several articles that refer to him as being Kenyan born. Obama’s grandmother on his father’s side, his half-brother and half-sister all claim Obama was born not in Hawaii but in Kenya. Also, was he adopted by his mother second husband? He took on the name Barry Soetoro, if so why did he not list that as an alias when he registered as an attorney and was he an Indonesian citizen as listed on his school record? These are all valid questions based on facts. But I know we can't ask him these questions, he is the messiah. And what about all my other questions? He just didn't bury those as well as some of the more senior politicians who have played the game for so much longer.
