Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.”

McCain hired same robocall company that slimed him eight years ago

John McCain says he doesn’t like campaign robocalls, automated phone calls that peddle garbage aimed at slurring an opposition candidate.

McCain was the victim of just such calls when he competed with George W. Bush in the South Carolina Republican primary in 2000.

Amazingly, McCain’s campaign is now resorting to robocalls — and it’s using the SAME COMPANY that targeted Mr. Straight Talk eight years ago.

Poor John, he forgot about the internets again. These just don’t work anymore.

McCain doesn’t seem like the same guy who ran in 2000. He will now say or do anything to get elected. Today, it’s ‘Obama is a socialist’. Never mind McCain proposes the federal government buy deadbeat mortgages and fund a ‘rescue’ package.

This is a man I used to respect. I would have voted for him in 2000. I don’t know if I’d even shake his hand, if offered, today.
