Tracking polls out today show tighter race in national popular vote

TPM’s composite of five daily tracking polls released today SHOWS Barack Obama’s lead over John McCain at 5.2 percentage points, down from yesterday’s 6.5 percent.
But the national numbers are misleading. Obama still has a wide lead in electoral votes, as we see HERE and HERE.
