They were given the money to spend how they see fit. That is the dems biggest problem–telling me what to do with my money after I earned it or someone gave it to me of their own free will. Who cares if Edwards spent $400 on a haircut? Maybe the poor people he pretends to represent. As for me, I say it is his cash, spend it how he wants.

No, it was all your right-wingnut heroes: Limbaugh, O’Reilly, and Hannity, to name a few. Limbaugh mocked Edwards for days, even going as far to dub him the new “Breck Girl.” Bill-o the Clown made a few passing smart-aleck remarks about it, and Sean Hannity took note of it early in the primaries.
You’re absolutely right…..it’s his cash and he can spend it how he wants.
It’s just so interesting how the chumps at Fox News find a $400 haircut to be “elitist” when there’s a “D” beside the name, but has no problem with $18K a week on wardrobe when there’s a “R” next to the name.
This is an irrefutable example of right-wing hyprocrisy. Case closed.

It would be case closed if Edwards didn’t put himself out there as a little guy fighting for other little guys. His mantra is that excess is bad. Is a $400 haircut excessive? I guess it just depends on how much money you have. I’m all for $400 haircuts, that means he is doing well. We all would love to be able to spend money like water–that is why I get up and go to work. Again, keep taxes low, stay out of our lives and those that want to succeed will–those that are having troubles, help them out for a while. Not for a lifetime. Now lets go shopping!

Billy. You mean like Palin put herself out there as also fighting for the little guy. She claimed to be a hockey mom who shopped at Walmart. Then she should get her clothes there also. Cindy wears expensive dresses so Palin wants to also. Not even close to J6P. Just pretend so they can get their vote.

I just can’t fathom how anyone can spend that much money on clothes. Even my ex couldn’t do it. Maybe Caribou Barbie should be called Caribou Hilton?

I think it was mostly on the shoes and matching purses.
