Scope of Palin disaster becomes enormous

If John McCain loses the presidential election, as now seems likely, he’ll have nobody but himself to blame — mainly for having selected Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Any gains with the Republican base resulting from the Palin choice have been more than offset by all of this:
1) POLLS show that most Americans consider Palin unqualified; 2) Some major daily newspapers that ordinarily lean Republican have CITED the Palin choice as one of the reasons why they’re endorsing Barack Obama; a passel of conservative intellectuals (like THIS GUY), appalled by Palin, have jumped ship.

Better to carve Sarah Palins face in a cornfield, than carve a backwards B in your own face.
Much better.

The irony is that in most prez elections voters barely notice the vp nominee. In this election, Palin was heavily scrutinized because the Republicans boasted about what a great choice she was. I guess John is a maverick after all.

Yeah, we don’t hear anything about Biden unless and until he says something the right wingers can distort. He never said a terrorist attack was immanent but after some ‘red’ blogs started spouting this BS, it made it onto all the cable outlets. So much for the ‘liberal’ media covering for Obama.

The executive producer of a show that has lately made a living lampooning Sarah Palin has glowing praise for the governor now that they have met.
“Saturday Night Live”’s Lorne Michaels tells Entertainment Weekly Online, “You can see that she’s a very powerful, very disciplined, incredibly gracious woman. This was her first time out and she’s had a huge impact. People connect to her.”
Actor Alec Baldwin — who appeared on “SNL” alongside Palin — expressed a similar sentiment. Baldwin writes on Huffingtonpost.com, “Palin came on to be a good sport. And she was. She was polite, gracious. More so than some of the famous actors who come through here. Believe me.”
Spin that!

I really thought he’s have picked Powell, Rice or Lieberman. I thought those would have been the smartest candidates for him to choose from.
But, it is what it now is…………….
We’ll see how it plays out…………
