“Brainy cities have low divorce rates, low crime, high job creation, ethnic diversity and creative capitalism…But in the politically suicidal greenhouse that Republicans have constructed for themselves, these cities are not welcome. They are disparaged as nests of latte-sipping weenies, alt-lifestyle types and ‘other’ Americans, somehow inauthentic.”

The Anchorage Daily News SAYS the coming election, “after all is said and done, is not about Sarah Palin, and our sober view is that her running mate, Sen. John McCain, is the wrong choice for president at this critical time for our nation.”
