Now I’ve heard it all
November 6th, 2008 at 05:07pm Pat Cunningham
While running a few errands today, I was flipping through stations on the car radio and happened upon an outlet for Relevant Radio, an all-Catholic network.
A caller was making a big deal out of the fact that the numbers drawn in the Illinois Lottery Pick Three game on Wednesday, the day after the election, were 666. To some religious fanatics, 666 has something to do with the anti-Christ.
The caller on the radio was implying that the lottery numbers were a sign that our newly-elected president is the anti-Christ. The same theory is spreading like wildfire on the Internet.
Check THIS from FreeRepublic.com, a popular Web site among right-wing wackos.
Oh, and consider another theory.  We’re talking about people whose collective I.Q. is represented by this number: 000.

Had to laugh, Rahm is such a big change from the past. Now he is going to install the Chicago political machine in Washington. Can we now expect the murder rate in the rest of the nation to quadruple. On a side not Emanuel also served on the Board of Directors for Freddie Mac from 2002-2004. I can see the markets are responding positively.
Perfect.

Ding. Keep laughing about the markets. GWB, Paulson, and Bernanke already gave your retirement fund to the big banks and themselves. And we still have 2 months for them to fill more money bags with your money.
Better go over to Wally World tomorrow and see if you can get a job as a greeter.

Rat: Won’t have to, I actually have a marketable skill, my companies actually profits have grown. I was employed through all the other recessions. I can see the election of Obama has really helped the markets. The Demorats have just as much blame. They are the ones talking about more and more bailouts. The “666″ stands for what the DOW will be at shortly. Obama is going to have hard time raising taxes that are not making any money. I can always tell the people who have never ran a profit making enterprise.

Pat C.: Tried using your “This” link to FreeRepublic.com. Got a warning from Comcast that the site 74.125.95.104 that i was trying to enter was a dangerous one with possibility of identity theft, etc..
This was NOT FreeRepublic.com. I got there just fine from google
search.
Is something wrong with your “This” link?
8. Pat Cunningham | November 9th, 2008 at 10:05 pm
Jake: I have no problem with that link.

Pat C.: Tried “This” link again — same result. It seems Comcast does not like it, but no problem through google.

2nd attempt
bannernews: Warren Buffet can afford to support Obama. With a personal fortune of $62 billion, he could pay 99.9% of it in Obama’s taxes, and still be a wealthy man.
