The favorability ratings for Barack Obama and George W. Bush in the latest GALLUP POLL are nearly exact opposites.
UPDATE: A new CBS poll SHOWS that 71 percent of Americans are optimistic about the next four years.

Outside of a few social issues, Americans are firmly in the PROGRESSIVE CAMP, but that hasn’t prevented a lot of bloviating to the contrary.
