  Pat-anyone who thinks Mort Kondracke is a Neo-Con is utterly hopeless.

  Mike: You’re right — sort of. Lots of folks seem not to know that neoconservatism is just one of many strains of right-wingery and should not be confused with the others. For example, Pat Buchanan is a paleoconservative, while Bill Kristol is a neoconservative. Pat Robertson is a theoconservative (among other things). On the other hand, I’m not as readily inclined as you to dismiss the notion that Mort Kondracke is a neocon — or at least sympathetic with much of the neocon agenda. But that’s a subject for another day.

  I don’t understand why Fox panders to the middle so much. They are Number 1 and not because they are \"fair\". How many votes do Republicans get from the black population? 5-8%? Why even try. Who cares. They will never vote Republican anyway. Write them off and concentrate on Conservatives! This moderate crap is silly. There is a huge European-American (is that racist?) base that will be getting the shaft (bill) the next four years in the new class war and need to WAKE UP! I am ashamed they have lost their way and got drunk on envy Kool-aid.

It’s pretty obvious from my name that I’m “European American”, although my grandparents and great-grandparents called themselves “Americans” instead of “German-Americans”. Regardless, I’ve spent the last seven years and ten months getting shafted by the Bush Administration and the rightwing. So, if nothing else, it’s someone else’s turn. And I know a whole lot of other “European-Americans” that feel the same way. Sorry to disappoint you. (Not really.)

  Craig, Looks like I struck a nerve. What makes you think I am white. Am I wrong in saying that the dems, for the most part, complain about their lot in life and how they are ‘passed by’ all the time? Did you not say it was someone else’s turn to get shafted? How were you shafted and by whom? Was there any way YOU could have avoided it, or were you waiting for someone else to watch over you.
