Applesauce
Pat Cunningham offers an unabashedly liberal perspective on national politics. A note of caution: The language gets a litttle salty on some of the sites to which this blog links. So, don’t say you weren’t warned. By the way, this blog’s name is inspired by the Will Rogers quote, “All politics is applesauce.” |

Yes, the Supreme Court made the correct decision. Barring mental compentancy issues and/or criminal convictions, “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”. The 2nd Amendment was designed to allow the private citizen access to the means to defend themselves, their families, and their property. Limiting of this, or any other of our Rights, should be the bare minimum needed to “secure domestic tranquility”. If you choose not to avail yourself of this Right, is no reason to deny it to others.

‘Roe and Heller, says Wilkinson, diminish liberty by “handing our democratic destiny to the courts.”‘
It can’t be said any better than that.
