Some libs nervous about Obama’s drift

Methinks it’s way too early for liberals to become DISAPPOINTED in the kind of government Barack Obama is putting together in preparation for taking the reins of power next month.
After all, as Obama has noted, his appointees will be directed to pursue policies set by him.

The Barking MoonBats are restless. Obama has back-pedaled on troop withdrawals from Iraq, and stocked his Cabinet with mostly Clinton-era retreads. To use a French quote: ” plus ça change, plus c’est la meme chose”, or “the more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Keep drinking the Limbaugh Kool-Aid, snuss.
So what if Obama has a few Clinton-era names on the roster? As I recall, the Clinton years were pretty darn good (you know, balanced budgets, peace, worldwide respect, a smokin’ economy, and other important things like that) except for a hissy fit thrown by Cons over a consensual act of oral sex. Bush loaded his Cabinet and the White House with cronies and loyalists, and we all know how the past eight years under Bush turned out don’t we?
Face it, snuss, it drives you Cons crazy that our President-elect is meticulously putting together a solid plan for undoing the damage your party has done to our country over the last eight agonizing years while your beloved failure-in-chief, along with Karl Rove, feebly tries to revise his legacy of King Midas-in-reverse. (Sorry, we’re not buying the “Bush kept us safe” nonsense spouted by Limbaugh, O’Reilly, and Hannity and that ilk. Seems they forgot who was in charge on 9/11, as well as which president was on vacation in August 2001 and couldn’t trouble himself to pay any attention to a PDB entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the US.”)
It’s way past time for you Cons to grow up and face the truth.

After the Republicans took control of Congress. Those first two Clinton years weren’t too good, were they? And don’t forget who passed up the chance to get Osama THREE TIMES, prior to 9/11 because he was too busy dropping his pants for Monica..
