Don’t think for a minute that THIS is going to deter the conspiratorialists from peddling their wacky theories. Quite the opposite, I suspect.

Check out the comment thread on “Hold Judgement on Obama” in the Dec. 01 Letters to the Editor. It appears that’s where this subject took on new life before your blog post.
Welcome back.

The suit was just another futile attempt to have the Supreme Court select our president for us. This time they balked at it. There’s another potential suit out there, filed out here by some Seattle nut case. It has even less merit than the New Jersey case. In fact, the WA Republican Secretary of State said it has no basis.

Still does not explain why it won’t release the information. Any foreign born person can get a COLB from HI. Why won’t he release his college records?

DingDong says, “Still does not explain why it won’t release the information. Any foreign born person can get a COLB from HI. Why won’t he release his college records?”
Do you ever listen to yourself?
First, what information? His birth certificate has been authenticated by the State of Hawaii and he has released it.
Second, Hawaii was then and still is a state. Therefore, ANY person born there is a U.S. citizen unless they relinquish it.
Third, what the hell do college records have to do with anything? He taught at the U of Chicago, one of the best schools in the U.S. Do you think they didn’t examine his academic credentials?
What part of all of this do you not understand?
And finally, where are YOUR birth certificate and college records? How do we know you are not an illegal or something? Maybe someone should sue you to find out? Pretty ridiculous isn’t it? Just like your comments.
